Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce the addition of three employment litigators in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Nicole Golob Minkow and Nicole Kamm join the firm’s California Litigation Practice as partners and Hannah Sweiss joins as an associate. Prior to joining the firm, Kamm and Sweiss both practiced at Lewitt Hackman. Minkow comes to Fisher Phillips after seven years with Pearlman, Brown & Wax, LLP in Encino.
The litigation trio’s arrival is an important component of the firm’s plan to continue to grow its presence on the West Coast to help clients navigate the constantly evolving employment landscape in California. In fact, in the coming months the firm will announce an expansion into the San Fernando Valley as a complement to the firm’s five other offices throughout the State.

Nicole Golob Minkow brings more than 20 years of experience representing management in employment defense litigation. She joins from Pearlman Brown & Wax where she was the chair of the firm’s Employment Law Department, and prior to that she was Of Counsel at Jackson Lewis. Golob Minkow has extensive experience in the courtroom litigating cases involving claims of wage and hour violations under state and federal law, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, defamation, fraud and unfair business practices. She has litigated before California’s trial and appellate courts at the state and federal level and has also successfully argued multiple cases before the California Court of Appeal. Golob Minkow also works with clients to develop preventive employment policies and training programs to help them avoid litigation.
Golob Minkow received her J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and B.A. from University of California, Riverside.
Nicole Kamm works with clients in a wide range of industries that are rapidly growing in California, including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, transportation and professional services. She defends employers and provides dispute resolution counsel against individual and class claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation and wage and hour violations before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Kamm also provides strategic counsel and management training on labor and employment issues that arise in the workplace, including hiring, discipline and termination decisions, reductions in force and compliance issues arising under Title VII, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the California Family Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the California Labor Code and Industrial Welfare Commission wage orders, and the federal and California Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
Kamm is active in the local business and legal community. She currently serves on the San Fernando Valley Bar Association’s Board of Trustees and is the co-founder of Women to Women (W2W), a networking group for dynamic and innovative female professionals. Super Lawyers designated Kamm a “2019 Top Female Attorney” in Los Angeles Magazine and she was named a “Top Attorney” by Pasadena Magazine. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine School of Law and her B.A. from University of California, Berkley.
Hannah Sweiss focuses her practice on defending employers against wage and hour claims brought under the California Labor Code, Private Attorneys General Act and other related claims in class, multi-plaintiff and single-plaintiff actions. Hannah also has unique experience working with employers facing EDD, DLSE and DOL audits. In addition, she provides employment counseling to help reduce risk of claims by employees related to employment classification, policies, agreements, discipline and termination.
Hannah previously served on the San Fernando Valley Bar Association’s Board of Trustees and currently serves as Vice President of the Arab American Lawyers Association in Los Angeles. Hannah had been named as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine each year since 2016. She received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School and her B.S from California State University, Northridge.
