Holland & Knight has strengthened its nationally recognized Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group with the addition of Partner Tim Poydenis, who will serve as the co-head of the firm’s Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice. Mr. Poydenis, who will reside in the firm’s Century City office, focuses his practice on representing emerging growth companies, venture capital investors and private equity funds. He was previously a partner with Goodwin Procter LLP.
Mr. Poydenis advises companies throughout all stages of their corporate lifecycle, from formation to exit, as well as venture capital firms and strategic investors in connection with their investments in these companies. He has significant experience working with startups and growth-stage companies, and advises them on all aspects of formation, fundraisings, acquisitions, exits and corporate governance. Mr. Poydenis represents clients in the technology market across a variety of industries, including real estate and property technology (PropTech), digital health and wellness, clean technology, sports and entertainment, advertising, music, Web3, artificial intelligence (AI), marketing, food and beverages, lending and financial services, insurance and many others.
