Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Ani Tolmoyan back to its Los Angeles office as a partner in the firm’s Consumer Warranty, Products Liability, and Class Action Practices. Ms. Tolmoyan defends Global 500 clients nationwide in products liability and class actions. Specifically, she has significant experience representing and strategizing for automotive manufacturers and distributors in warranty and fraud litigation. Ms. Tolmoyan has also handled defense work for several major public entities – including the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. She has served as trial counsel in federal and state court. Tolmoyan returns to the firm from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.
Moreover, Ms. Tolmoyan is dedicated to providing pro bono services to the Center for Truth and Justice as the Chair of the organization’s Education Committee. Additionally, at Southwestern Law School, she presented on “Succeeding in Law” during Southwestern Law School’s Diversity and Inclusion Welcome Day, and she has also taught several MCLE courses on litigation issues involving the automotive industry.
Over the last nine years, Ms. Tolmoyan has practiced at medium and large private firms in the greater Los Angeles area, including with Lewis Brisbois’ Los Angeles office between 2016 and 2018. She earned her law degree from Southwestern Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Ms. Tolmoyan is admitted to practice in state and federal court in California, as well as in federal court in Florida.
