“As the technology sector navigates an evolving regulatory landscape, it’s a strategic priority to further expand our preeminent capabilities in technology transactions,” said Arlene Arin Hahn, Global Head of White & Case’s Technology Transactions Group. “Linda brings valuable expertise and over two decades of experience in leading complex IP and tech-driven transactions that will add additional depth to our already busy group. We are thrilled to continue to expand our West Coast practice, building on Linda’s, and our wider team’s, market-leading experience advising across the full spectrum of technology transactions matters.”
Sim has deep experience advising on technology transactions involving software and data licensing, systems development and integration, SaaS and cloud-based services, digital media transactions, and IT and business outsourcing arrangements. She also advises on data security and privacy issues, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
“Linda brings significant experience that will further bolster our ability to provide seamless service to our clients,” said John Reiss, Head of White & Case’s Global M&A Practice. “Her addition further builds on the recent investments we have made in our technology transactions and M&A practices, as we continue to expand our capabilities, and grow our market share on the West Coast.”
