Allen & Overy to Add Game-Changing Multidisciplinary Technology Team in U.S.; Expands West Coast presence

Allen & Overy today announces the investment in seven partners from the White & Case LLP Technology practice. This multidisciplinary and highly-experienced team continues A&O’s rapid expansion in the U.S. and significantly enhances the firm’s leading Technology practice, completing the creation of a global offering to clients with a critical Silicon Valley presence. The team comprises Shamita Etienne-Cummings, Bijal Vakil, David Tennant, Eric Lancaster, Adam Chernichaw, Daren Orzechowski, and Alex Touma. Bijal and Daren will be global co-heads of the firm’s Technology practice. All partners will operate from their current locations in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C.

Norton Rose Fulbright Continues to Expand Global Investigations Team With LA Partner

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that Chris Pelham has joined its Los Angeles office as a partner. Pelham is the sixth US lateral partner to join the firm’s global investigations team this year, following Celia Cohen, Tom Coulter, Jay Dewald, Julie Searle and Brian Sun. Joining from Jones Day, Pelham serves international clients with disputes, regulatory, litigation and internal investigation needs in China and other parts of Asia.

Brandon Fox to Return to Jenner & Block and Serve as Los Angeles Office Managing Partner

Fox, former chief of the Criminal Division for the US Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, has rejoined the firm as a partner in Los Angeles.
