Perkins Coie Adds Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Partners Chris Grogan in Los Angeles and Steve Davis in Portland

Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Chris Grogan and Steve Davis have joined the firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) practice as partners in Los Angeles and Portland respectively. Four new partners have now joined the expanding ECVC practice in recent weeks, following the additions of Dan Austin and Patrick Anding in Texas and California. Steve joins Perkins Coie from Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where he was a partner and had established his practice for 15 years. A former counsel with Perkins Coie, Chris returns to the firm after working as a general counsel for startup Stealth Fintech.

King & Spalding Broadens FDA and Life Sciences Team with Addition of Three Partners

King & Spalding today announced that Dale Giali, Keri Borders and Michael Resch have joined as partners on its FDA and Life Sciences team. Giali and Borders will be based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, and Resch will be resident in the San Francisco office. Giali and Borders join from Mayer Brown, where they co-led the food and beverage practice, and they are reuniting with Resch, a former Mayer Brown partner who most recently served as general counsel at Amy’s Kitchen, a leader in the frozen food and soup categories.
