Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli has welcomed Zachary Rothenberg as a shareholder in the firm’s Health Care Litigation & Disputes Practice in the Los Angeles office. With more than two decades of experience in litigation and arbitration on the federal and state level, Rothenberg is a veteran litigator with a focus on representing health care clients, particularly in the behavioral health space, in business disputes as well as out-of-network and in-network reimbursement disputes. Rothenberg arrives from Nelson Hardiman, LLP.

With extensive knowledge in the behavioral health space, Rothenberg advises providers on a variety of development and operational issues. He litigates out-of-network and in-network reimbursement cases on behalf of addiction treatment facilities and responds to special investigation audits. He has also advised on labor and employment defense matters including those related to racial discrimination, wrongful termination, wage & hour disputes, and retaliation.
In addition to his focus on behavioral health, Rothenberg also advises general health care clients, ranging from individual doctors, nurses, and other individual healthcare providers to ambulatory surgery centers, pharmacies, and drug rehabilitation facilities, to hospitals and Independent Practice Associations (“IPAs”). Outside of health care, he represents clients in industries such as entertainment, professional services, financial services, marketing, and manufacturing. Rothenberg received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and holds a B.A. from Columbia University.
