Renowned Entertainment & Media Attorney Gary Stiffelman Joins Greenberg Traurig as Shareholder in Los Angeles

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Gary Stiffelman, who is joining the firm as a shareholder in the Entertainment & Media Practice. Stiffelman, who has nearly 35 years of entertainment and media experience, joins the firm from Ziffren Brittenham.

Stiffelman focuses his practice on the areas of entertainment, new media, and telecommunications, representing and negotiating deals for many prominent recording artists and producers, as well as technology entrepreneurs and companies on their expansion and acquisition by major technology companies.

Throughout his career, Stiffelman has also represented new media companies in groundbreaking deals with TV, film companies, music publishers, and record labels. His clients include tech firm MADEFIRE; lyricist Carole Bayer Sager; superstar DJ and music producer David Guetta; and Sophia Amoruso, Founder and CEO of Nasty Gal and bestselling author of “#Girlboss;” as well as Kobalt Music Group.

Stiffelman serves on the board of councilors for University of Southern California’s Thorton School of Music, and is an executive committee member and past chairman of the University of California, Los Angeles Entertainment Law Symposium. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at UCLA School of Law for 10 years.
