Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced today that Misty Sanford, Karen Lorang and Aimee Contreras-Camua have joined the Firm as partners in the Real Estate Department. They are based in Los Angeles, and Misty will serve as Chair, Real Estate – West Coast. Collectively they bring more than four decades of experience and a deep understanding of the full lifecycle of real estate matters. With the team’s arrival, Willkie’s Real Estate Department has over 50 lawyers nationwide, led by 12 partners, eight of whom are women. Misty, Karen and Aimee join Willkie from Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP.

They each have extensive experience with a variety of real estate assets, including mixed-use developments, full-service resorts, industrial facilities, office buildings, retail developments and multifamily properties.
