Ashurst today announces that it has appointed Fernando Navarro as a partner in its global finance division. Fernando will be based in the firm’s Madrid office and joins from Cuatrecasas.
Fernando specialises in advising private and public companies on financing transactions, both through syndicated and bilateral loans, and issues of a broad range of debt instruments. He also has experience in derivatives, debt restructuring, direct lending, alternative funding, purchase and sale of debt portfolios and debt trading. Before joining Cuatrecasas in 2003, he was in-house counsel at Santander Investment and Grupo Ahorro Corporación.
