Dentons continues its expansion in Australia with the appointment of Andrew Chan as a partner in the corporate team in Melbourne.
Andrew has more than 10 years’ corporate experience across Australia, Asia and Europe and specialises in advising clients on cross border mergers and acquisitions, including takeovers, schemes of arrangement, private equity matters, corporate governance, restructures and fundraising on equity capital markets.
Andrew also regularly advises overseas clients on foreign investment issues in Australia, as well as commercial contractual arrangements and compliance with both the Corporations Act and the ASX Listing Rules.
Dentons’ Chief Executive Officer, Australia, Ian Dardis, said that Dentons has been focussed on building a strong corporate practice in Australia and that Andrew’s experience in major overseas markets would benefit both local and overseas clients.
