Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP announced today that Andrew Hill has joined the firm’s corporate practice as a partner based in Silicon Valley. Mr. Hill joins from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Mr. Hill represents technology and life sciences companies on a broad range of transactions throughout their corporate lifecycle. He has extensive experience working with private companies on venture financings and other strategic transactions, and then taking them public via traditional IPOs or de-SPAC transactions. Along with his company-side experience, he regularly represents investment banks in securities offerings, as well as venture capital firms, private equity firms and corporate investors in connection with their investments.
“Andy is a next-generation leader in Silicon Valley who brings exceptional skill, constructive counseling and a wealth of knowledge to clients on their most strategic transactions. He is the perfect fit for Freshfields and we are thrilled to welcome him to our expanding corporate practice here in Silicon Valley. His comprehensive experience advising on securities and corporate matters for public and private companies, as well as their investors and investment banking underwriters, expands the depth and breadth of the firm’s offering for our technology and life sciences clients around the world,” said Head of US Capital Markets and Freshfields’ US Managing Partner Sarah Solum.
Mr. Hill’s work spans a variety of sectors, with a special focus on technology and life sciences. His clients include:
