Dentons Lopez Velarde Welcomes Venture Technology Partner, Sergio Legorreta

Dentons continues to bolster its Global Venture Technology practice with the appointment of Sergio Legorreta in Mexico City as head of Mexico´s Venture Technology Practice and co-chair of Dentons’ Venture Technology Practice in Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining Dentons, Legorreta led Baker & McKenzies technology, IP and life sciences practices in Mexico for 15 years and in Latin America for 4 years.

The highly-ranked, multi award-winning technology, innovation, venture and intellectual property lawyer, Legorreta will lead Dentons’ Mexico Venture Technology practice and co-chair its Latin America and Caribbean Venture Technology practice. His expertise, including senior leadership positions at top multi-national and Latin American corporations, spans intellectual property, technology, telecommunications, media, communications, venture and emerging companies and regulatory life sciences. The appointment comes as the firm continues to strengthen its technology capabilities to service local and multi-national clients across Mexico, Latin America and around the world.
