Norton Rose Fulbright Expands Corporate Team in Mexico City

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that corporate lawyer Andrés Nieto has joined the firm as an international partner in the Mexico City office.

Joining from the Mexican reputed firm Creel Abogados, Nieto represents business groups, financial institutions and private equity funds in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate financing, secured financing and syndicated lending, reorganizations, restructurings and work-outs, fintech matters and regulatory compliance.

Nieto also advises issuers and investment banks in public and private transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings and cross-border securities offerings. Additionally, Nieto has vast experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Licensed to practice in Mexico, Nieto received his law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho and LLM from Columbia Law School. He earned a postgraduate degree in private equity and venture capital from Universidad Anahuac and has postgraduate studies in corporate finance and financial law from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
