Joseph Mamounas has joined Holland & Knight’s Miami office as a partner in its litigation practice group focusing on international arbitration matters, as well as complex business disputes and corporate fraud and compliance issues. Mr. Mamounas began his practice at Baker & McKenzie LLP and, more recently, was a partner at Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod LLP.
Mr. Mamounas has significant experience in international disputes, having represented corporate and individual clients from across the United States, Latin America, Europe, Canada, Asia and Australia. He has advocated for clients in numerous matters with amounts ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars at issue and involving critical industries including manufacturing, labor services, mining, technology, and banking and financial services, among others.
“Joe will be a real asset to our arbitration and litigation practices,” said Adolfo Jimenez, Holland & Knight’s South Florida litigation practice leader. “He has tremendous experience in international arbitration and complex litigation representing an array of clients from all over the globe. Considering Miami’s rise as a center for international arbitration, especially for U.S., Latin American and European parties, Joe will help solidify Holland & Knight’s reputation as a leader in this space.”

Mr. Mamounas earned a J.D. from University of Miami, where he was editor-in-chief of the University of Miami Law Review, and a B.A. degree from Cornell University.
