A Florida certified public accountant, Mr. Gans is also experienced in advising clients on Opportunity Zone planning, expatriation matters, 1031 exchanges, partnership tax planning, tax compliance and tax controversy matters. He was previously a partner with Shutts & Bowen.

“Logan represents an exciting opportunity for the firm to add additional experience in the international private wealth services area,” said Christopher Boyett, co-chair of the Private Wealth Services Group. “With his broad knowledge and experience in all levels of tax law, he will further strengthen our international practice in South Florida.”

The firm’s private wealth and tax attorneys reside in 21 cities across the U.S. and Latin America, and are positioned to help clients manage their assets and tax exposure with a concierge-level of service.

“I am pleased to become a member of Holland & Knight and join its deep bench of attorneys providing tax and wealth services,” said Mr. Gans. “It’s a fascinating time to be focused on international tax and wealth preservation issues. Increased transparency and other reforms are taking hold across the globe, which is making the need for diligent tax counsel absolutely essential.”
