Healthcare and technology litigator Matthew Grosack has joined Holland & Knight’s Miami office as a partner. He began his career at McDermott Will & Emery and then spent six years at DLA Piper.
“Matt has outstanding experience in priority growth areas – healthcare, privacy and technology,” said Adolfo Jimenez, chair of Holland & Knight’s South Florida Litigation Practice Group. “Matt is also very involved in the community, a key attribute for any successful Holland & Knight attorney. We expect he will contribute greatly to our firm and clients.”
Mr. Grosack’s practice involves a wide range of dispute resolution and risk management counseling, with a particular focus on commercial litigation and regulatory investigation matters in the healthcare industry. His experience includes the resolution of high-stakes disputes and investigations for healthcare clients on varied issues such as unfair competition, restrictive covenants, post-closing disputes in private equity-backed healthcare transactions, whistleblower (qui tam) actions, physician licensure, and privacy-related matters in federal, state, administrative and alternative dispute resolution forums. He also has notable experience with medical device technology, drones, autonomous vehicles, healthcare blockchain applications and cybersecurity issues. Mr. Grosack is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in U.S. privacy laws and regulations.
Mr. Grosack is active in numerous philanthropic and charitable organizations throughout South Florida. He currently serves on the executive cabinet of the Tocqueville Society of the United Way Miami-Dade and the board of IMPAC Fund, and is a passionate supporter of the Memorial and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundations.
