Hogan Lovells Advises Republic of Ecuador in US$127 Million Financing for Urban Transportation Project

Hogan Lovells advised the Republic of Ecuador in the negotiation of a US$127 million financing protocol that was executed on 4 December 2012 by the Minister of Foreign Trade of France and the Minister of Finance of Ecuador. Under the protocol, the government of France will extend a loan to be used for the construction of an urban transportation project in the city of Cuenca in southern Ecuador.

Hunton & Williams LLP announces Paul C. Huck Jr. joined the firm’s national litigation practice as a partner in the Miami office. A former general counsel to Florida Gov. Greenberg Traurig LLP Represents Amaya Gaming Group in its $167 Million Acquisition of Cadillac Jack, Inc.

Amaya Gaming Group Inc. (TSXV: AYA), an entertainment solutions provider for the regulated gaming industry, announced Tuesday that it has entered into an arm’s length definitive agreement to acquire Cadillac Jack, Inc. in a merger transaction. Amaya will pay approximately US$167.0 million to acquire 100% of the equity of Cadillac Jack. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2012.
