Polsinelli Grows in Miami With Two M&A Shareholders

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli has welcomed two new shareholders to its growing Miami office. Joining Polsinelli from a boutique firm, but each coming with years of experience at their prior Am Law 50 firms, Albert Diaz-Silveira and Cristina Quintero are two seasoned corporate attorneys and have joined the firm’s Corporate M&A Practice Group to anchor and build out the practice in South Florida. Polsinelli has had steady growth in its nationwide Corporate M&A Practice over the past year, adding four shareholders and significantly expanding in adjacent practices such as Private Equity and Venture Capital & Emerging Growth Companies.

With over two decades of experience, Diaz-Silveira’s cross-border law practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and a diverse array of other corporate transactions. Known for his pragmatic approach to intricate transactions, Diaz-Silveira has developed a distinguished client portfolio that includes numerous privately held businesses and family offices. His experience spans across various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, energy, aviation and distribution, both domestically and internationally. Diaz-Silveira earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and holds a B.A., cum laude, from Duke University.

Quintero is a corporate lawyer with over 15 years of experience advising clients on general corporate matters and transformative transactions. She works closely with clients to address business issues that have legal ramifications and to collaborate on achieving effective solutions. Throughout her career, Quintero has been instrumental in fostering enduring client relationships by providing legal advice that extends beyond the confines of routine transactions. Her clients have come to rely on her not just for her legal acumen, but also her ability to understand the intricacies of their businesses and tailor her advice to align with their strategic objectives. Quintero completed a fellowship with the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice of the New York City Bar Association, and was based in New York City, as well as Bogota, Colombia and Mexico City, Mexico. She holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and received her B.A. from Fairfield University.
