Zelle LLP is pleased to announce the expansion of its insurance and Latin American capabilities with the addition of experienced insurance attorneys and the opening of an office in Miami, Florida.
The firm welcomes Anaysa Gallardo Stutzman, tapped as managing partner of its Miami office, and Daniel Baron, who joins as senior counsel. Gallardo Stutzman and Baron will open the firm’s Miami office on June 20, 2016, along with Christine Renella, a Zelle senior associate.
“Zelle’s vision of having the best and brightest attorneys available to meet the legal needs of our diverse client base is enhanced by the addition of Anaysa and Daniel,” said Kerry Brown, a member of Zelle’s Executive Committee. “Florida is a strategic market for Zelle and for our U.S. and international insurance clients, and Miami is a critical gateway city for our Latin America practice. Anaysa and Daniel have complimentary skill sets and we are excited to have them join the firm.”
“I am delighted to be joining a stellar group of attorneys. The firm has an outstanding platform for my practice,” said Gallardo Stutzman. “I see great opportunities to creatively work side-by-side with Zelle’s clients who have matters in Florida and its neighboring states, or in Latin America.”
Gallardo Stutzman was previously a partner at Cozen O’Connor’s Miami office. Her practice is focused on insurance disputes and general commercial litigation. Gallardo Stutzman earned her law degree from Boston College Law School. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Italian.
Baron is an Argentine-qualified attorney who most recently worked in the Miami office of Kennedys Law LLP. Baron’s practice is focused on representing insurance and reinsurance companies with claims in the Latin American region. A native Spanish speaker, he received his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
Renella’s practice is focused on complex insurance coverage disputes and general commercial litigation. She spent the majority of her legal career in Florida, but in 2015 and the first quarter of 2016 she completed a series of secondments with key Zelle clients in London.
Zelle’s attorneys are uniquely experienced and have handled coverage disputes and subrogation/recovery matters on behalf of (re)insurers on six continents. Cases are led by senior, multi-lingual lawyers licensed or qualified in the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, England and China.
Within the past two years, Zelle has continued its growth with new offices opened in Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., an expanded Boston office, and the launch of Zelle International in London. The firm is poised to see further growth and build on its history of representing clients in their most challenging business disputes in venues across the United States and around the world.
