Global law firm White & Case LLP has strengthened its Global Banking Practice with the appointment of Gianluca Fanti as a new partner in Milan.
“In recent years we have built a leading banking practice in Milan and our ambition is to be the number one banking practice of international firms in Italy,” said White & Case partner Eric Berg, Global Head of the Firm’s Banking Practice. “Gianluca’s appointment will expand the breadth of our practice in Milan and increase our offer to clients.”
Fanti’s practice focuses on banking and finance, in particular securitisation, structured products, distressed and non-performing loans. He regularly assists banks and companies in a broad range of transactions. He also has extensive experience in banking matters, including general lending, real estate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance and debt restructuring. He joins White & Case from Ashurst, where he has been a partner since 2011.
