National law firm Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP is pleased to announce the expansion of its Minneapolis office with the arrival of partner David Carrier. He joins from large law firm Lewis Brisbois. The firm opened its office in Minneapolis in February with a large team of product liability litigators and recently expanded its offerings with two intellectual property partners.
Carrier defends clients in a variety of class actions, products liability actions, complex business and commercial litigation, labor and employment cases, and trade secret disputes across the nation. He also defends corporations in litigation with and under investigation by the federal and/or state governments for violations laws such as the False Claims Act.
“We are excited to welcome David to our firm’s growing products liability and commercial litigation practice,” said Minneapolis Office Managing Partner Alana Bassin. “His experience continues to expand the services we can offer to clients in the Twin Cities and throughout the country.”
Nelson Mullins’ litigation group has represented clients in courtrooms across the nation. The team has experience working in various sectors such as antitrust, class action and multi-claim litigation, commercial litigation and business torts, premises liability, toxic torts, and more. The firm’s litigators regularly appear before state and federal appellate courts around the country, including filing amicus curiae briefs in such courts on behalf of industry groups.
Carrier is admitted to practice in Minnesota, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
