Dentons is pleased to announce that Tim Theroux has joined the Firm as a partner in our Corporate group. Based in Montréal, Tim’s practice will focus primarily on infrastructure and project finance transactions.

Tim has advised banks, multilateral institutions and private investors on a wide range of international projects in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.
Tim is ranked among the leading lawyers in the Financial Markets, Energy and Infrastructure, and Project Finance categories in the 2019 edition of the IFLR 1000 EMEA. He has also been recognized in The Legal 500 EMEA as one of the best lawyers in Banking and Finance law (Russia) (2015-2018), as well as in Corporate law, and Mergers and Acquisitions (Moscow) (2016 and 2017). Tim is a member of the Bar in New York (2003), Alberta (2009) and England and Wales (2013). He earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Laws from McGill University.
