Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe recently hired Dmitry Gubarev and Leo Batalov to serve as partners in Moscow legal jobs, according to a press release.
Gubarev joins the banking and debt capital markets group with a focus on finance, banking, transactions, and capital markets.
Batalov joins the mergers and acquisitions and private equity group .
“We are delighted Dmitry and Leo have joined Orrick,” global managing partner Alexander Janes with Orrick said. “They provide excellent synergies with our finance and corporate practices and map to our strategy of strategically growing our finance and corporate capabilities, particularly in the technology-led emerging company sector.”
Batalov holds a law degree from the University of Washington and a bachelor of arts degree from Whitman College. Gubarev holds a PhD from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and a law degree from the Law Faculty of the Moscow State University.
Both Batalov and Gubarev join Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe from Dewey & LeBoeuf.
