Eversheds Sutherland Expands its Corporate Practice with Lateral Partner Hire

Global legal practice Eversheds Sutherland has welcomed Partner Dr. Michael Prüßner to its corporate/M&A team. Michael joins from law firm Pinsent Masons alongside Senior Associate Benjamin Schikora. Both will be based at Eversheds Sutherland’s Munich office.

Michael has a background in advising on international transactions, particularly in the automotive, consumer goods and technology sectors on company acquisitions and sales, bidding procedures, restructurings and joint ventures.

He has more than ten years’ transactional experience and has spent several years as a general counsel for a major textile trading company in Germany, Austria, Western and Southeast Europe.

Michael has also gained extensive experience in negotiating and management of complex commercial contracts, with particular focus on selective distribution systems.

In addition, Michael lecturers in commercial and corporate law at the International School of Management in Munich.
