Latham & Watkins To Add Prominent Employment Law Partner in Munich

Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Anne Kleffmann will join the Munich office as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department and member of the Benefits, Compensation & Employment Practice. Kleffmann regularly advises leading companies and private equity firms on a variety of individual and collective employment law matters, with a particular focus on restructurings and reorganizations and M&A. Kleffmann will join the firm from Watson Farley & Williams. Kleffmann graduated from the University of Münster.

She has extensive expertise advising clients in relation to downsizings, site closures and TUPE transfers, and in connection with a wide range of employment law matters in the context of corporate transactions. She also has extensive experience in negotiations with works councils and regularly represents clients in employment disputes.

Kleffmann will be the latest partner to join Latham & Watkins in Germany, following the arrival of Thomas Grützner, Tim Wybitul, and Tobias Larisch. She passed her Second State Examination through the Landesjustizprüfungsamt Nordrhein-Westfalen before receiving an LL.M. from the University of Sheffield, England.
