Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is pleased to announce that Volkmar Bruckner has joined the Firm’s Munich office in the Corporate Practice Group. Mr Bruckner focuses his practice on private equity and M&A. Volkmar Bruckner joins Kirkland from the Munich office of Weil Gotshal & Manges where the 46-year old has been a partner since 2015. Prior to Weil, he was a partner at Latham & Watkins for eight years. He is admitted to practice both in Germany and in New York.
Mr. Bruckner advises private equity investors, management teams and corporations on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. His particular focus is on leveraged buy-outs, carve-outs and joint ventures.
