Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli has welcomed Richard Miltimore as a shareholder in the firm’s growing Nashville office and to the Real Estate & Financial Services Department. Miltimore is an experienced real estate attorney and former business owner in the payment processing space. He is the 12th shareholder the department has added in the past 12 months and the fifth new shareholder in Polsinelli’s fast-expanding Nashville office in the past year. Polsinelli moved into a new office space in Nashville in October last year to accommodate the firm’s exceptional growth in Music City.

Miltimore advises private sector clients, including private property developers, owners, tenants and financial institutions, in a broad range of project finance and real estate transactions. He has extensive experience representing clients in matters related to real estate property acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, project development, secured lending as well as real estate joint venture and equity fund formation and investments. He has experience advising clients on mixed-use and lifestyle center projects, power plants, particularly solar, wind and gas fired, including land acquisitions and easement work. For sales, acquisitions and dispositions, his experience includes large single-asset “trophy” property transactions and multibillion-dollar portfolio transactions. He is also experienced in real estate finance, advising borrowers and lenders in commercial loan transactions across a variety of real estate assets.
Additionally, Miltimore has experience in all manners of payment processing solutions, including hard-to-place business types. He was co-owner of MG Transact, a boutique payment processing service company. Prior to this, he was a real estate partner at full-service law firm.
He earned his J.D. at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and holds a B.A. from Pepperdine University.
