Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome James W. Hailey III and Shannon Burr to its New Orleans office as partners in the Insurance Coverage Practice.
Hailey has more than two decades of experience helping insurance and corporate clients detect, deter, and defeat fraud in construction, premises, transportation, and general litigation matters, including coverage.
“Lewis Brisbois is thrilled to announce the addition of these two new partners to its New Orleans office. New Orleans native Jim Hailey has brought his established practice, including special investigations unit fraud, construction, trucking, premises liability, commercial and private auto, and civil litigation to the Lewis Brisbois national platform,” New Orleans Managing Partner Jenny Michel said. “He was followed closely by Shannon Burr, and together they are building a solid team of litigators to better service their existing and developing clientele.”
Hailey is very active in local claims organizations and is the president of the New Orleans Claims Association, a board member of the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, and the founding secretary of the Louisiana Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management organization.
He is joined by Burr, who focuses her practice on litigation with an emphasis on defending complex insurance coverage analysis and litigation. She also defends against commercial litigation, tort, mass tort, and construction litigation.
