Davis Polk is advising Delonex Energy Limited in connection with a $600 million investment from an investment group led by an affiliate of Warburg Pincus LLC.
Delonex Energy is a new energy exploration and production company with a focus on Central and East Africa. Delonex Energy is led by Rahul Dhir, the former CEO of Cairn India Limited, and is headquartered in London. Warburg Pincus is a global private equity firm with more than $40 billion in assets under management.
