Robert J. Kenney Jr. Joins Blank Rome as Partner

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Robert J. Kenney Jr. has joined the Firm as Partner in the Corporate Litigation group.  He is based in the Firm’s New York office.

Hoffman, Co-Chairman and Managing Partner.  “With more than 20 years of experience handling a variety of complex corporate litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country, Rob is an excellent addition to our litigation team.”

Mr. Kenney joins Blank Rome from Hofheimer Gartlir & Gross, LLP in New York where he was a partner.  He focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate and commercial litigation and the issues that affect large and middle-market companies, including contract disputes, corporate theft, fraud, false advertising, international law, and telecommunications law.  He represents hedge funds, national and international banks, renewable energy companies, telecommunications companies, and consumer product companies.  Mr. Kenney began his legal career as a trial attorney in the United States Marine Corps, and after serving in that capacity for seven years, moved on to the law firm setting where he has developed his practice over the past 16 years.

Mr. Kenney serves as a board member of The Salvation Army, Greater New York Division; a committee member of the New York Leatherneck Scholarship Ball, Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation; a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Federal and Commercial Section committee; and has worked with the H.E.L.P. and Sanctuary for Families pro bono organizations.

Admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, Mr. Kenney received his Juris Doctor from Union University; Albany Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts from Saint Lawrence University.
