Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has added Bradley A. Siciliano to its growing Corporate Ethics & Compliance practice as a shareholder in the firm’s New York City office. Siciliano brings with him two decades of legal experience drawn from both private practice and corporate senior executive positions within major multinational corporations.
“We are excited to welcome an attorney of Brad’s caliber to our Corporate Ethics & Compliance practice group,” said Craig R. Benson, managing shareholder of Littler’s New York office. “His tenure as in-house counsel combined with his litigation and corporate ethics and compliance background brings a unique perspective that will undoubtedly serve our clients well.”
Prior to joining Littler, Siciliano served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Sharp Electronics Corporation where he was responsible for the companies’ legal activities in North, South and Central America. In this capacity, he led the implementation of Sharp’s first Ethics and Compliance Program, served on the company’s Ethics and Compliance Committee and led all of Sharp’s major internal investigations.
Additionally, Siciliano worked in close partnership with Sharp’s human resources group in managing all of the company’s employment and labor law-related matters, and was instrumental in a number of HR initiatives, including the implementation of Sharp’s alternative dispute resolution program, as well as the implementation of part-time work schedules and adoptive leave benefits. Siciliano also was involved in designing and conducting regular training on compliance and workplace issues, such as code of conduct, antitrust, the Federal Corrupt Practices Act and workplace harassment and discrimination.
Before his tenure at Sharp, Siciliano was Assistant General Counsel at JVC. He has also been a commercial litigator for two law firms in New York City, where he handled a broad range of matters including harassment and discrimination suits and employment contract disputes.
“During my time as in-house counsel, I had the opportunity to work closely with Littler’s talented attorneys,” said Siciliano. “I was so impressed with the firm, and that lasting impression was one of the key factors in my decision to come aboard. It is exciting to return to the law firm setting and I look forward to drawing on my in-house and private practice experience to serve the firm’s clients as Littler expands its international presence.”
In addition to being an active member in the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Siciliano is a member of the American Corporate Counsel Association and a former member of the Committee on State Legislation – New York City Bar Association. He is also the founder and director of Doc’s Queens Lacrosse.
Siciliano received his J.D. from Hofstra Law School (1984) and his B.S. from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations (1989). He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York.
