Baker Botts Grows Staff in New York, Houston

International law firm Baker Botts augmented its staff with the addition of two attorneys for New York legal jobs and one lawyer for a Houston legal job, according to a press release.

Legal recruiting benefits the New York office with the additions of William S. Lamb and Michael W.E. Didriksen while the Houston office gained the services of Thomas J. Moore.

Each attorney is experienced at directing clients’ energy issues, which includes mergers & acquisitions, project development and divestitures.

“Adding Tom, Bill and Mike to our firm shows that we are committed to offering the best legal talent to our clients,” managing partner Andrew M. Baker with Baker Botts said. “Our energy platform is also a strong complement for Tom, Bill and Mike to continue to develop their respective practices.”

Each attorney left similar opportunities with Dewey & LeBoeuf for jobs at the firm that employs more than 700 attorneys. Lamb was co-chair of the firm’s Utilities, Power and Pipelines Global Industry Sector Group, Didriksen was a partner in the U.S. Energy and Utilities Practice Group and Moore served as co-chair of the energy mergers and acquisitions practice.

Established more than 170 years ago, Baker Botts has 13 worldwide offices.
