National law firm BuckleySandler hired Andrew W. Schilling for a New York legal job, according to a press release.
With offices in Washington and Los Angeles, the law firm hired Schilling as a partner. Formerly the chief of the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, Schilling also brings with him trial attorney experience from the private sector as well.
“Joining BuckleySandler was a natural choice for me given its nationally recognized and highly regarded government enforcement practice,” Schilling said. “I look forward to joining the firm’s New York office and using my 20 years of experience litigating in the federal and state courts of New York to help the firm’s financial services and corporate clients navigate through sensitive investigations and complex litigations.”
His experience centers around intricate fraud cases such as mortgage and healthcare fraud. He oversaw many high-profile cases in the nation and organized civil investigations with the Criminal Division of the USAO.
Established in early 2009 with about 40 lawyers, BuckleySandler now is staffed by more than 150 attorneys.
