Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP represented Anchor Glass Container Corporation in an $880 million acquisition by Ardagh Group. Anchor Glass is the third-largest glass container manufacturer in the United States. Ardagh, based in Luxembourg, produces metal and glass packaging for food, beverage and consumer care brands.
Anchor Glass was previously owned by private investment funds managed by Wayzata Investment Partners LLC. This deal is subject to U.S. regulatory approval.
