Those legal services also involve dealings with all of the government agencies in the highly regulated arena of employee benefits.
“We are pleased to have a seasoned and well-regarded employee benefits attorney such as Lee be a part of our EBG team. He has practiced law in Chicago since the early 70s and brings enormous experience and talent, which will be a great asset to our clients located both locally and nationally,” said Peter Steinmeyer, Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Chicago office.
“Lee will enhance the firm’s strong capabilities in ERISA litigation and will help to expand the depth and reach of our national Employee Benefits practice,” said Joan Disler, Chair of the Employee Benefits Practice Steering Committee.
Polk said, “I was drawn to EBG because of its national Employee Benefits practice that is staffed with attorneys who combine a real-world understanding of the intricacies of benefit plan administration and employee benefits operations. I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and providing top-notch service to the firm’s clients both locally and nationally.”
