Laura C. Brutman has joined the Schiff Hardin LLP New York office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Group from Dickstein Shapiro LLP in New York.
Ms. Brutman’s practice focuses on all areas of patents, including prosecution, reissue applications, reexaminations, client counseling, license negotiation, due diligence and litigation. She has obtained thousands of patents on behalf of U.S., European and Japanese corporations, in addition to being the author of numerous patent validity and infringement opinions.
She graduated from The Catholic University of America – Columbus School of Law (J.D., 1994) and Boston University (B.S., 1989).
