Ashurst boosts US infrastructure capabilities with key hire

International law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of Adam Sheets as a consultant in its US infrastructure group.

Adam is currently an AVP with HNTB. Prior to joining HNTB, Adam was at Ohio DOT where he played a seminal role in the procurement of ODOT’s first P3 project, the Portsmouth Bypass P3 project.

Andy Fraiser, head of Ashurst’s US infrastructure group and global head of project finance commented:

“I first came across Adam’s unique skill set when he was my client on Portsmouth Bypass. Our clients are frequently asking us to open our minds up to taking alternative approaches to delivering our services and to bring more lawyers to the table with different backgrounds and perspectives. Hiring Adam is a clear demonstration that we are listening and because of that, I am confident that our clients will feel the benefit of Adam’s unique skill set within a short time of him joining us.”

With the addition of Adam Sheets, Ashurst’s US infrastructure group now comprises 20 lawyers working full time on US P3 projects.
