Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. announced today the opening of an office in New York City. This second location for the Chicago-based law firm will serve its growing foundation of bank clients in the areas of real estate lease and purchase/sale transactions, loan documentation, workouts related to conventional and SBA products, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, general corporate banking and commercial and consumer foreclosures. The firm will also provide legal services associated with complex civil litigation, estate planning and healthcare law.
The office is located at 420 Lexington Ave., Suite 2320, New York, NY 10170, (212) 687-0192, and is supported by a team of nine attorneys.
“A number of Chuhak & Tecson clients have encouraged us to launch an office in New York,” said Josh Hyman, a principal with the firm and leader of the banking group, “and we are confident that having a presence in New York City will serve our clients very well. It also offers a second hub city for our national clients.”
Since 1987 Chuhak & Tecson has been in the service and relationship business. The firm attracts attorneys dedicated to innovative solutions at a fair price, collaborative communication, responsiveness and, above all else, client service.
“Our clients’ support stems from Chuhak & Tecson’s values of hard work, honesty and integrity,” said Hyman, “and those same pillars are the foundation of our New York practice for both new and existing clients. While our pricing, handling and execution will remain unchanged, this opportunity provides us with an extraordinary ability to better serve our clients.”
The New York team is comprised of K. Shaylan Baldwin, David Bloomberg, Edmond Burke, Joshua Hyman, Sarah Lash, Lindsey Paige Markus, Adam Moreland, James Morro and Stephen Wood.
