International law firm Clark Hill PLC announced today that the firm has combined with Philadelphia-based Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C. effective Jan. 1, 2023. The move expands Clark Hill’s presence in Philadelphia and New York and adds four lawyers from the well-regarded real estate boutique. David Larsson and Bruce Ritter join Clark Hill as Members in the Real Estate practice, Paul Scheuritzel is Senior Counsel in the Litigation practice, and Daniel Gibbon is Senior Counsel in the Corporate practice.

David Larsson has extensive experience advising clients on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and leasing, financing, and asset management transactions across the U.S. Additionally, he advises clients on various contracts and processes encountered in the life of a real estate asset, such as charging station license agreements, design and construction contracts, real estate aspects of New Markets Tax Credit and Opportunity Zone financings, and agreements relating to real estate transfer and ad valorem taxes. Larsson served as in-house general counsel and executive vice president to a Philadelphia-area shopping center development company, where he acquired valuable hands-on experience in acquisition, development, construction, and management of ground-up shopping center properties. Larsson earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and B.A. in History cum laude from Bowdoin College. He has been a popular presenter at Jenkins Law Library and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) law conferences.
Paul Scheuritzel has represented multi-national companies across various industries, including international retail, national insurance, manufacturing, and electronic industries in complex commercial and litigation matters across the U.S., with a focus on complex real estate and construction matters. Scheuritzel is experienced in all facets of traditional litigation as well as mediation and arbitration. He earned his J.D. cum laude from Villanova University School of Law (Order of the Coif) and B.A. from Hamilton College. He is active in his local chapter of the American Inns of Court.
Bruce Ritter advises clients on leasing, acquisition, development, loan transactions, and real estate workouts throughout New York, New Jersey, and across the U.S. His clients include commercial landlords and tenants nationwide. In addition, he has led brownfield developments, retail developments, and build-to-suit projects. Ritter has particular experience in advising on unique tax incentives and programs in real estate deals, and he also has prior experience as an in-house counsel to national retailers and a quick service restaurant company. He earned his J. D. cum laude from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. with honor from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Ritter is a frequent speaker at the International Council of Shopping Centers annual U.S. law conference.
Dan Gibbon represents clients in all aspects of their businesses, including the formation and choice of entity, financing, corporate agreements, tax planning, contracts and transactions with third parties, mergers and joint ventures, and real estate transactions. Gibbon represents a diverse group of businesses and is a key member of a client team advising and implementing the client’s national real estate expansion and asset management program. Gibbon earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he also earned an M.A. in Natural Resources Policy, and his B.A. from Swarthmore College. Active in the community, Gibbon is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society as leader of the Queen Village Tree Tenders group.
