Cullen and Dykman LLP, one of the New York region’s most well-renown general practice law firms, is pleased to announce that John Sparling, Chris Ruggiero and Scott Shapiro have joined the firm as partners in the Construction Litigation group.
The new partners join Cullen and Dykman from London Fischer where they built a robust and
well-known practice representing their clients in the areas of construction litigation, insurance defense and labor law claims. Drawing upon his more than 25 years of experience in this field, John Sparling will be head of the firm’s Construction Litigation group.
“We are very pleased to have John, Chris and Scott and their exceptionally strong capabilities in their practice areas join forces with us,” said Christopher H. Palmer, Managing Partner of Cullen and Dykman. “The key addition of these outstanding attorneys reflects the firm’s commitment to grow these practice areas.”
The new partners bring along their core team of construction associates and paralegals as well as their full complement of construction clientele.
These experienced attorneys offer expertise not only in construction, insurance litigation and labor law matters, but also in general litigation and commercial litigation, including construction, construction defects, premises liability, mass torts, toxic/environmental torts, property damage, employment discrimination, insurance coverage and the litigation of various commercial matters, including contractual disputes.
“We welcome this very talented team and the expertise they can offer to both existing and future clients,” Palmer said. With the addition of the new attorneys, Cullen and Dykman, which was founded in 1850, will now exceed 170 attorneys in their various offices in New York, New Jersey and Washington D.C.
