Dan Altchek has joined Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr as a partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice. He is resident in both the Baltimore and New York City offices. Mr. Altchek joins the firm from the Baltimore office of Miles & Stockbridge P.C.
Mr. Altchek brings nearly 20 years of experience advising private and public sector employers on labor relations issues and matters. He regularly represents employers in union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations, contract administration and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. In addition to his traditional labor practice, Mr. Altchek also provides counsel and representation in discrimination, wage and hour and related tort claim litigation.

In addition to being a member of the Maryland bar, Mr. Altchek is admitted to practice in New York, where he began his career with Proskauer Rose LLP and prior to his subsequent relocation to Baltimore in 2015.
Mr. Altchek earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School. He also received his B.A. from Columbia University, where he has returned as a senior lecturer teaching a course in Human Resources Management for the Mailman School of Public Health’s Executive MPH/MHA Program.
