David Luttinger has joined Covington as a partner in the firm’s Insurance Recovery practice in New York.
Mr. Luttinger has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in the insurance coverage field, including extensive trial work in judicial and arbitral forums across the country. His experience in the coverage area includes disputes over insurance for mass torts, environmental liabilities, large-scale property and business interruption losses, and shareholder lawsuits. He has represented clients in the energy, chemical, manufacturing, retail, and financial services sectors.

Mr. Luttinger graduated from Fordham University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree at The College of the Holy Cross. Before his career in private practice, he spent five years as an Assistant District Attorney in the trial division of the New York County District Attorney’s office.
