Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Adam Summers has joined the Firm as a partner in the Finance practice, based in New York. Before joining Fried Frank, Mr. Summers was a partner in Cadwalader’s New York office.
Mr. Summers’ practice focuses on credit and capital markets transactions. He has extensive experience advising investment banking clients and debt funds throughout the deal process, from the early stages through closing and funding. He also has represented various corporate clients on a wide range of financing transactions.
“With his diverse experience in financial matters, Adam is a welcome addition to our very active Finance practice as we continue to counsel our clients on their most sophisticated matters,” David J. Mr. Summers represents banks and commercial lenders in both syndicated credit facilities and high-yield bond financings related to leveraged buyouts and other acquisitions, and provides ongoing counsel to agents and arrangers under those facilities. He has particular expertise negotiating commitment letters in connection with acquisition financings. Mr. Summers has worked on numerous subscription credit facilities for private equity and debt funds.

Mr. Summers received his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Yeshiva University. Mr. Summers is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
