Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Robin Henry and Motty Shulman have joined the Firm as partners in the Litigation Department and Securities and Shareholder Litigation Practice. They will be based in the Firm’s New York office. Prior to joining Fried Frank, Ms. Henry and Mr. Shulman were partners at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP.
Ms. Henry and Mr. Shulman have extensive experience representing sophisticated financial institutions and businesses in their most complex and high-stakes matters, both in the United States and abroad. At the Firm, Ms. Henry and Mr. Shulman will advise investment funds, insurance companies, and financial institutions in connection with all manner of disputes relating to their business operations. Both have substantial experience with claims under the federal and state securities laws as well as with regard to a wide range of esoteric financial products, including asset-backed securities, insurance products, and complex financial structures. Ms. Henry and Mr. Shulman also have significant advisory experience outside of the litigation context, regularly offering strategic leadership to clients in connection with internal investigations, litigation due diligence, and the structuring of out-of-court dispute resolutions.

Ms. Henry and Mr. Shulman’s arrival follows that of James Barratt, who joined the Firm’s Litigation Department, resident in London, in January. Other recent additions to the Litigation Department include Michael C. Keats, litigation partner in New York, and Una A. Dean, litigation partner in New York’s White Collar Defense, Regulatory Enforcement & Investigations and Cybersecurity Practices.

Ms. Henry received her JD, cum laude, Order of the Coif, from New York University School of Law, where she was an editor of the New York University Law Review; and her BA, cum laude, from Smith College. Mr. Shulman received his JD, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, where he was an editor of the Nova Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Society; and his BA from Talmudic College of Florida.
