Goldberg Segalla, one of the largest and fastest-growing law firms in the United States, recently added eight attorneys — including five partners — to its Global Insurance Services and Workers’ Compensation Practice Groups in three of the firm’s offices serving Metro New York. This substantial growth reflects the firm’s continued commitment to adding only lawyers handpicked to meet its clients’ diverse legal needs in each market and beyond.
Insurance Coverage
The firm’s Global Insurance Services team added five lawyers:
•Marc S. Voses, a partner in New York;
•Steven P. Nassi, a partner in New York;
•Jeffrey S. Matty, a partner in New York;
•Jared T. Greisman, a partner in New York; and
•Benjamin R. Messing, an associate in Philadelphia and New York.
Collectively, these attorneys handle a broad range of sophisticated legal needs for domestic and international insurers, including first-party and third-party insurance coverage analysis and litigation, subrogation, cyber risk management, investigation of fraud and other types of misconduct, bad faith and extracontractual claims, reinsurance matters, and regulatory investigations before the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and various state and district offices of the Attorney General.
Workers’ Compensation
The Goldberg Segalla Workers’ Compensation Practice group added:
•Asher I. Labendz, a partner in New York;
•Katiana V. Rodriguez , an associate in New York; and
•Barbara R. Lucas, an associate in Garden City.
These additions closely follow recent hires of numerous other partners, special counsel, and associates to the growing practice group in the Princeton, Garden City, and White Plains offices.
Labendz, Rodriguez, and Lucas defend insurers, employers, and third-party administrators in a variety of matters before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, following the Goldberg Segalla model of handling each claim from inception through resolution.
