The award-winning Corporate Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has grown once again with strategic additions in the firm’s New York and New Jersey offices. Peter Humphreys joins from Hogan Lovells as a shareholder in both offices. Maya Mitchell joins from King & Spalding as of counsel in the New York office.

Humphreys has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on complex corporate, securities, and finance transactions. He counsels clients on the securitization of consumer receivables, equipment and operating leases, bank loans, and mortgages. He also has experience in public and private markets transactions, the development of new financial products as well as offshore transactions and cross-border deals. Humphreys received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law; his B.C.L., with honors, from University of Oxford; his LL.B., with honors, from University of London; and his A.K.C. from King’s College London.

Mitchell received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and her B.A., in Economics, from Wesleyan University.
