Herrick, Feinstein Adds Kristina Wesch as Partner in Restructuring & Finance Litigation Group

Herrick, Feinstein LLP is pleased to announce that Kristina Wesch has joined as a Partner in its Restructuring & Finance Litigation Group. She joins Herrick from Farrell Fritz.

Wesch represents clients in a wide range of bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring and reorganization matters, with an industry focus on health care law. Her clients include stalking horse bidders and other acquirors of distressed assets, both inside and outside of bankruptcy, as well as lenders, debtors, and official and ad hoc creditors’ committees. She has deep and varied experience representing health care organizations (both for and not for profit) in distressed situations and bankruptcy cases involving hospitals, long term care providers, pharma and nutraceutical companies, and other related businesses.

“We are delighted to have an attorney of Kristina’s caliber join our growing practice,” said Sean O’Donnell, Co-Chair of Herrick’s Restructuring & Finance Litigation Group. “This practice area has grown steadily and strategically over the past several years, and we are excited to add Kristina’s specialized skillset to the team to provide even further value to our clients.”

Wesch’s significant transactional experience includes not-for-profit matters, such as mergers, affiliations and member substitutions (and running related requests-for-proposal processes), obtaining Attorney General approval for, among other things, transactions, dispositions and changes to corporate organization, and advising not-for-profit directors and officers on corporate duties.

“Kristina’s experience in both bankruptcy and the health care space will prove incredibly valuable, particularly in navigating these unprecedented times,” added Irwin Kishner, Herrick’s Executive Chairman. “Her specialized capabilities and leadership will be particularly critical as we expand and diversify our offerings to clients.”

“I am excited to join Herrick’s Restructuring & Finance Litigation Group at this critical time of growth, and to leverage my experience working with health care clients as the group continues to expand,” Wesch said.
