Holland & Knight Expands Corporate and Latin America Practices with Addition of Steven Sandretto in New York

Steven Sandretto has joined Holland & Knight in New York as a partner in the firm’s Northeast Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group. Mr. Sandretto has almost 20 years of experience in capital markets, securities and finance work, with a particular emphasis on Brazil, Mexico and the rest of Latin America. He previously practiced at Paul Hastings in the firm’s São Paulo and New York offices.

Mr. Sandretto’s practice consists of domestic and cross-border securities offerings, bank financings, M&A transactions, and general corporate, securities and corporate governance matters. He has extensive experience representing issuers and investment banks in a wide range of international and domestic debt and equity securities offerings, with a particular emphasis on Rule 144A/Regulation S high-yield debt offerings. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

His reputation as a trusted advisor to clients in Latin America will substantially enhance our ability to grow the firm’s presence in that market,” said Amy Leder, the co-head of Holland & Knight’s Northeast Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group and executive partner of the New York office. “He has strong relationships with several Wall Street and global banks that are active in Latin America and has represented a large number of high-profile corporate clients throughout the region over the years.”
