Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP announced today that Patrice P. Jean has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property practice as a partner in the firm’s New York office. Jean was previously a partner at Kenyon & Kenyon LLP.

Jean has acted as counsel to some of the nation’s leading branded pharmaceutical and bio-technology firms. She is admitted to practice in both New York and D.C. and in patent cases before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to attending law school Jean conducted cancer research and taught biochemistry and molecular biology at Princeton.
“Hughes Hubbard is a go-to firm for litigation and transactional work for some of the largest, most respected life sciences companies in the world,” said Jean. “My clients will benefit from the firm’s outstanding capabilities in the life sciences sector.”
